With all the meat in the freezer I was looking for something different to make for dinner. This is something we have made before and it is always a winner.
I used the flavoured pork mince that I had left over from making sausages (we ran out of skins) and puff pastry.
These are so easy. Just defrost the pastry sheets, spread the mince over the top, leaving a gap at the top and bottom of the pastry.
Just remember that I used mince that already had flavour added so you can add any thing you like. My daughter made them and added grated carrot, so garlic, curry, herbs anything that your family likes.
Also you can use any type of mince too like, beef, chicken, turkey, once again whatever your family enjoys.
I even put some BBQ sauce over the mince on some.
Roll them up and then slice with a sharp knife into 1 inch pieces.
Place on a paper lined baking tray and bake for about 30 mins or until golden and brown.
We had ours with vegetables but any side dish would be fine. They are even nice cold the next day for lunch.
The only problem I had with these was that I didn’t make enough.
Enjoy!!!
You will find me linked up at some of these great blogs.

Oh, my! These look wonderful! We make pinwheels sometimes, by using tortillas and a cream cheese mixture. We add a pack of ranch dressing to the cream cheese, along with scallions, jalapenos, green peppers, finely chopped pepperoni, and a bit of the jalapeno juice. They are very good. I have often wondered how the cream cheese based pinwheels would “fare” if they could somehow be deep-fried? Just a thought that has been in my mind. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!
Hey there Cheryl, those sounds fantastic too, maybe except for the jalapenos. We aren’t really a “hot” family. I read this comment to my husband and his statement was that deep frying always enhances food (you can tell he’s a fish and chip man). Maybe you could shallow fry them in oil, let me know if you try. Blessings and thanks for sharing.
Oh Terri, those look great! I’ve always wanted to try them when I see pictures of them, but never had a recipe. But I’m DEFINITELY going to try these!! Thanks for sharing and for stopping by my blog again.
Thank you so much Kate for hosting and also taking the time to sop by. Give these a go they are delicious. Blessings to you.
What a quick yummy dinner idea! I am always looking for different, but still quick dinner ideas as we get stuck in the same old same old rut sometimes.
I agree Joanna, sometimes it the same old thing and it is definitely nice to have something different. These pinwheels are just that different, easy and you can change them about if you want. I hope you get a chance to try them. Blessings and thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
This looks like something even my pickiest eater would enjoy. I love that it’s so easy! Thanks for sharing!

I can see us making these in our home and all kinds of things we can add to them like veggies my family will not eat as I can hide them inside them.
What a great idea Glenda, yes you can disguise the vegetables in these really easily. I hope your family enjoy them. Thanks for stopping by. Blessings.
