WELCOME BACK
to our
GOOD MORNING MONDAYS LINK UP
Hi there all! and welcome back to our weekly link up. How have you all been?
Although it’s spring here, it’s been a cold and wet week again. The ground had just started to dry up a bit and now it’s all boggy again. My wonderful husband had to fix the back veranda roof but now we don’t have any holes and the veranda stays dry, that’s a plus.
We’ve been busy doing school and just all the normal stuff this life brings, cooking, cleaning, gardening. We started this past Monday a bit tired after a busy weekend so it took a bit to get us started.
We had our usual Bible study on Tuesday night, and we are enjoying the study and the fellowship with like-minded believers. This week we discussed the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt.
With it being so wet my husband was home on Thursday and managed to get all our berry plants in the ground. We are hoping to have a pick your own, but we’ll see how that pans out as the berries grow. We still have quite a few root stock to get in and that will hopefully happen next week.
Friday was a busy day for us with pottery lessons, dentists and bible class but it’s always nice to be together. We only have one more week of pottery left before holidays and then we’ll reassess our attendance for next term.
On Saturday, after piano lessons, we headed to our son-in-law and daughters place for our grandson’s 2nd birthday. He is such a little boy and a real joy and we had a great time with them all. We haven’t spent much time together over the last month or so due to other commitments so it was really nice to finally be together.
We bought him a truck and I also knitted him a pair of socks. I also knitted my husband another pair and there’s definitely a size difference. Just think, this little man will one day wear socks the same size as his grandfather, amazing how they grow. The raised garden beds are going well and we managed to spend some time weeding and mulching them again this past week. The onions are soldering on and so is the garlic. Everything is a bit slow growing due to the weather but it won’t take too many more weeks for the weather to turn around.

This coming week will be much the same as last week. We have our usual Bible Study and Friday activities with the addition of a bonfire on Friday night as a young people’s event. The children are looking forward to it and we are looking forward to the fellowship with others.
Thank you all for your support and may God bless you all.
Keep on keeping on my friends…
