Hi everyone, welcome back to our weekly Good Morning Mondays Link Up.
What a week it’s been. Β We’ve had sun and spring weather and then at the end of the week we had nearly 50 mm and our paddocks are flooding.
It was drying out really nicely earlier in the week and the sun was shining, it was just lovely.
On Monday my husband had to do a quick job up in the mountains at a property he works at, so we all went with. The children had a lovely time walking around the lake and looking for deer. I have been working on a jumper for our grandson for his birthday so I took the opportunity to do some knitting while I waited.

On Tuesday we attended a funeral for a lovely Christian lady. It was a wonderful celebration and thanksgiving service for her life. She was buried first (in the morning) and then after lunch they had the service. Such honouring and loving words, it was beautiful.
So 2 days down and no school!! So I took the opportunity to get some other things done this week and by Thursday it was raining quite a lot.
We caught up on our ironing and house cleaning and did some cooking for our grandsons dedication and birthday lunch on Sunday.
Our weekend was really full. We had music lessons on Saturday morning which is half and hours drive away. We then came home and packed up and went to a 40th and a 1st birthday party for a friend and his daughter. After that we headed to our son-in-law and daughters house for the night.
On Sunday our little grandson was dedicated and then we celebrated that and his 1st birthday. He is growing up so quickly and so are his sisters. They are such delightful children and we love getting together with all of them whenever we can. We also caught up with some friends and our daughters parents-in-law which was great too.

I play scrabble with my daughters mother-in-law and she is really good, it is hard to beat her. We play nearly every day but mainly just at bedtime, it’s sort of a relaxing time for us both.
Okay, onto our link up…
I apologise Β to you all because I couldn’t do our top three this week. The internet has been so bad with all the wet weather. Hopefully the top three will be back next week.
Thank you everyone for stopping by and linking up.
This coming week is back to normal, school again and the usual work around the house and farm. Hopefully it will dry up a bit so we can start getting ready to plant our spring garden.
My husband has his last Fathers course this week and all the men have really enjoyed the course and have really put in an effort to grow and learn. It is so important for fathers to be strong leaders in their families and such a blessing to their wives and children.
Also a reminder about our monthly link up…
This months topic is FAITH and I look forward to hearing from you over there.
Also remember you don’t have to link up, but I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section, so stop over if you get the time.
Have a blessed week my friends and may God lead and guide you in your everyday life.
Numbers 6:24-26 βThe Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.β
Blessings to you all xxxx
You will find me linked up at some of these great blogs.
A “jumper” is so much better word for what we call a “sweater.” If I were your grandchild, I would love wearing a Jumper you had made with your own hands!
Where I grew up Michele we called jumpers “sloppy joes” now that’s totally different. I also would love you to wear one of my jumpers, that would really bless me. Blessings
What a darling little boy your grandson is! Just adorable! You are blessed. π
Oh Ruth, he is just adorable I agree, and I agree also that we are so blessed. Thank you for your kind words. Blessings
Thank you for hosting! Your grandson is so cute!
Thanks so much Debbie for being so faithful with this link up. Blessings
That is a lovely jumper! π You have a real talent there, and your grandson looks mighty handsome in it!
Glad that you’re drying out there…lots of rain makes it hard to get work done outside. We’re beginning our fall active rainy season but I like it–it cools the air and smells so lovely when it rains. π
Hey there again Mrs Abella, I’m enjoying connecting with you on Instagram… Thanks and blessings
Awww! Your grandson is so cute! Thank you for hosting! GOD bless you, sweet friend! π
Thank you so much Tai, God bless you too.
It’s always a joy to read about your wonderful family!
Hey Elizabeth, it’s lovely to hear from you. Blessings
