Welcome back to Good Morning Mondays this week, and guess what??? it is our 12 month anniversary of the link up.52 weeks, wow I am amazed at how quickly it has gone by and I am also blessed by the friendships that I have made just through this link up.
Thank you to everyone of you who continually stop by and link up your posts and thank you for sticking with me, even when I had to go off line for a few weeks.
You are all amazing and that shows through in your posts and your kindness.
I am looking forward to continuing this link up and maybe doing something different in the new year (I’m not sure what yet).
Like last week, this week has been quiet, but that’s okay. On Monday I was tired from the weekend and I kept my leg up for most of the day.
My husband and I went to our Revelation Study on Tuesday night and although we were tired we really enjoyed it. We are nearly finished the book and we hope to get it done by Christmas and we are all looking forward to studying something new next year. We have such a lovely group of people who come along, and we have such wonderful discussions.
Wow next year is only a couple of months away. We have a lot happening before then. We have my husbands 50th birthday party and another few birthdays and then of course Christmas and New Year.
It has been a tradition each New Year that we host a bbq for some of the people at church. We normally invite mainly the older generation (our parents age) and we really enjoy getting together with them. They are so nice to talk to and have so much wisdom. Our younger children and their father normally do a musical item and with our No 2 son practicing his harmonica, I am sure it will be good this year.
Our No 2 son has started breeding meal worms. My husband bought some at our local pet food store and he was going to feed them to the fish but I remembered a post by Mindie at Born Again Farm Girl about breeding them. My husband did a bit more research and he has changed it about a bit to suit what we can get here and the ones we bought have already started to turn into the pupae stage. Very exciting and a great science project.
Our aquaponics system is going really well at the moment and my cauliflowers are coming to head which is great. The silverbeet that I planted months ago is still growing and we keep picking off it. Our No 2 daughter has become an expert at sauteing it with garlic and butter and it is a great side dish to the lasagnas that we have been blessed with.
Below is a picture of the silverbeet and carrot bed. The carrots are looking great and it will be interesting to see how big they grow.We are hoping that this system will supply our daily vegetable needs during the year and that hopefully it will grow tomatoes and salad vegetables year round.
Okay enough about us, onto our link up….

I am off to see the physio this week and it will be interesting to see what he has to say and hopefully my movement has improved and increased.
I am thinking we will start making Christmas Cards this week also so that we have them done and ready to go.
What’s on your agenda for this week???
Have a blessed week and may you feel God’s love surrounding you.
Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”
Blessings to you all my dear friends. xxxx
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You have become so dear to my heart over the past year, and I can’t thank God enough for leading you into this venture, as it has brought you across my path. Praise His name forever! He is a faithful God who always knows exactly who and what we need. Oh, I was SO blessed to see the mention of my post here tonight! What sweet encouragement!! I can’t thank you enough, dear friend. May God continue to bless and lead and guide you and your blog…I know He has GREAT things in store for you, and I am so excited to walk this path with you.
Oh Cheryl the feeling is so very mutual. I feel so blessed by our friendship and the fact that we are able to stand shoulder to shoulder in prayer for each other, even though we are miles and oceans apart. This past year has been amazing and I have learnt so much and made some wonderful friends. May God bless you and your wonderful family as He leads and guides you in the path and journey he has for you. Blessings dear friend. xxxx
Hi Terri, Congrats on this amazing linkup journey of one-year.!
Thank God for keeping us till now.
I am so grateful for
you,
your patience in visiting and leaving comments too,
your punctuality in setting up this wonderful online fellowship, your perseverance and
the encouragement you give many newbie and old-time bloggers.
Thank you so much for blessing our hearts here always.
I always look forward to spending time here with you.
Many blessings to you Terri
Thank you so much Ifeoma for your kind and encouraging words. I am so blessed by our friendship and I appreciate your words. I am sorry that I haven’t been commenting as much lately but I do intend to get back to it as soon as possible. Thank you for being so faithful to the link up and me. Blessings to you dear one.
Thanks so much for hosting the link up! Congratulations for a year! Pray you are continuing to heal.
Thanks so much Debbie for stopping by and your words of encouragement. I am sure that my leg is healing, what with all the prayers. Thank you for yours and I pray that you are blessed this week. xxxx
You totally made my night! I was giggling like a little girl and made hubby come read how your No 2 is now a worm farmer. I LOVE it!!! Congrats on a year. I am so glad you managed to come back to us. I did miss you after your little incident. I checked in every few days to see how you were doing and if there were any updates. Isn’t it odd how someone whom you have never met from the other side of the world can mean so much?!?! ((HUGS))
You are so right Mindie, there are so many of you that I haven’t met but I love and care for all the same. Most likely we will never meet but I am blessed by your friendship and care for me. The meal worms are going well and I really appreciate your “out of the box” thinking and that you share these great ideas with us all. I’m sorry that I haven’t gotten to comment as much as I like too, but I am well on the way to getting back there. Thank you so much for your friendship and kind words. May you be blessed this week. xxxx
Congratulations on the anniversary Terri, and thank you for hosting the link up! It was interesting to see how your aquaponics garden is coming along 🙂

Congratulations on a year of great LINKUPS! It’s so good to hear of your progress physically, as well. And what a blessing friends and family can be when you go through those challenges.
Around here … I just got back from visiting my mom in California. She is 86 and still doing pretty well. Thank God for His mercy. Our church is getting geared up for our annual Christmas pageant and feeding some of the less fortunate for Thanksgiving.
Hope you have a blessed week and I look forward to your “new project” in 2016. Blessings!
Hey Donna, it is so lovely to hear from you. You mum sounds amazing and I am glad that you have been able to spend time with her. Your Christmas pageant sounds lovely and it is definitely a wonderful thing to help the less fortunate whenever we can, what a great example for us all.
It has been a wonderful year of link ups and I appreciate all of you who stop by. I especially appreciate your Bible in a Year plan (although I have fallen behind) you make it so much easier to understand and I have learnt so much, particularly about the Old Testament.
Praying that you have a wonderful week and that you are blessed. xxxx
Congratulations Terri! I hope you continue to heal well and have a lovely week.
