GOOD MORNING MONDAYS #32

Wow, here we are again another Good Morning Mondays. I find it hard to believe that we have been going for 32 weeks now. The year seems to be going so fast, it is almost half over.

Winter is definitely fast approaching and our week has been cold and damp. Even some of the chickens came onto the back veranda to get out of the rain.

It was good lego playing weather though (after school was done).

I have had a good week and I was out one afternoon with my husband and children and then again that night to our Revelation Bible Study.

Only my husband and I went this time and we really enjoyed it. We have spent the last few months doing an overall study of the book, now we are digging into the individual verses and chapters.

We didn’t have our sewing day this week, I just had a few things I needed to get done around the place before we went to our Son-in-law and daughters place for the weekend. We will get together this coming week and the girls will almost be finished their quilts. We will have to have a discussion about what we do next.

Our youngest granddaughter turned 1 this week and was dedicated on Sunday morning at church. We then had a bit of a luncheon, party to celebrate.

We headed up to their place after music lessons on Saturday and spent the night and helped get a few things ready. Our daughter and son-in-law had most of it done though, but it’s always great to be together.

Our daughter made the girls matching dresses and they looked just beautiful.

We had a lovely time together with their family and their church family and some other close friends.

Okay enough about us…

Our link up has been going great and growing each week. Unfortunately I can’t always get them read but please keep linking up because what I do read I really enjoy and I am sure that many others are benefiting from your posts.

If you didn’t get a chance to read these, pop over if you can. They are all quite different and all very educational and interesting.

Thank you everyone for linking up and taking the time to send me comments. I am so blessed by them and it makes my morning to wake up to them all.

We only have one week left until the Eisteddfod so we will be relaxing on the piano practice a bit and not pushing it so much.  We will have a sewing afternoon on Thursday and I would like to sew my daughter a new dress, but apart from that there isn’t much else on.

Our no 1 son turns 20 this week, so I will cook him something special for tea and a nice dessert.

I hope you all had a good week and that you will be blessed this coming week.

Let us be thankful for all that we have and prayerful for those in times of stress. Let us keep our eyes open to those around us and help out when God leads us too.

Blessings to you all my dear friends. xxx

  1. Sounds like a lovely birthday/dedication day! The dresses are just lovely.
All the best with Eisteddfod. My oldest son is singing in choir this year. My second daughter used to do ballet solos/duos/troupe, but she has dropped it this year as she is concentrating on Year 12. May see you there!

    1. Thanks Jayne, we had a lovely day and the weather was just wonderful. We only do piano and we will have it over and done with by Mondays night. They are both looking forward to it. Hope you son goes well with the choir too. Thanks and Blessings

  2. Aww….they are so precious! I love their little embroidered dresses! Your daughter must be as talented as you are! And the birthday cake…..my, it is just lovely! I am so thankful all of you were able to get together and spend those precious moments. God bless all of you and keep you in His tender care. 🙂 Much love and many blessings to you!!

    1. They are just lovely granddaughters and we so enjoy spending time with them Cheryl. Our daughter is probably more talented than I am and she is much more neater than me and that is probably good :-). I must admit I was really pleased with the cake and it was worth the effort definitely. Thank you for your prayers for our family, they are much appreciated. Blessings

  3. Thank you for hosting another Good Morning Monday! Looks like a full weekend of many family memories and blessings. While I was reading, I temporarily forgot that your seasons are opposite from those in the U.S. (I had the opportunity to go to Australia in May 2001 – Canberra, Brisbane, and Sydney – while in choir at college. The weather was still pleasant and not damp where we visited). I also just remembered you are about 12 hours ahead of Texas time… Mommy Brain. Hope you have a blessed week!

    1. Hey there Angie, thanks for your comment and yes we had a lovely time. I find it hard too to imagine you in summer, bit bizarre. I’m glad you had the opportunity to visit Australia, we have a lovely country, blessings
